Onion – 1
Kashmiri chilly powder – 1/2 tablespoon
Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dal – 1/4 teaspoon
Curry leaves – 1 stalk
Salt – to taste
Oil -1/ 2 to 1 tablespoon
- Grind onion and chilly powder coarsely in a mixer. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan splutter mustard seeds and urad dal.
- Add curry leaf and the ground onion paste. Add salt to taste.
- Saute this mixture in medium flame till oil separates. Serve with idli or dosa.
